Street Perspective

Within its context, my building sits further back than the row of shops it nestles into. This was to ensure the facade doesn’t impose, as in Darnall it could easily become something people are intimidated of rather than attracted to.

Especially in Darnall, I feel it is vital to respond to this context, as the performance space could be a strong turning point in the division of cultures that defines the suburb.
