P1 // Fly
With Florence Barbour
Project one challenged us with designing a small communal building for facilitating paragliding in the Peak District. It focused on the importance of understanding the subtle nuances of a predominantly sparse site as well as designing a scheme indicative of flight whilst conforming to the brief’s requirements for us to design a small, low impact structure.

P2 // Theatre
The second project introduced medium scale civil architecture, in a busy, up-and-coming region of Liverpool, Ropewalks. The nature of designing a theatre meant that this project required the creation of a delicate spatial experience, where the internal spaces were sensorily isolated from the urban context in which it was designed.

P3 // Housing
The final project explored a housing brief in Burngreave, Sheffield. This project focused on detail and rigorous design, with the lengthy time span this project occupied allowing for in depth analysis and critical design development. This project also allowed for the exploration of an individual and unique design and style due to the flexible and minimal project brief provided.
