The landscape is articulated in a generous green interior courtyard.
This is south-facing in order to create a pleasant space for children to play together and for women to grow vegetables in the production garden.
This would focus guests into a common activity, working simultaneously towards the social integration and the self-sustenance of the community.
The Roof plan shows the configuration of the top floors timber cladding. In the community portion of the scheme, as well as in the housing, the solid structure is alternated with skylights in order to maximise daylight and sunlight and to convey a feel of cosiness and protection to the environments, keeping that important connection with the exterior.
