The Section is drawn to illustrate all the exciting moments inside and out of my building. The emphasis is on the communication of the graduated experience, from one side of the building, to the other.

The newly established Higger Tor ‘Blood Moon Festival’ campsite, sits just outside the 25 meter tall rammed earth lunar obelisks, dwarfing the landscape.

As the visitor passes between the obelisks, they suddenly begin to descend into the Lunar Gallery space and then onto the climatic finish inside the amphitheater. The amphitheater is designed to coincide with the trajectory of the Blood Moon at it’s peak, and allowing for moonlight to flood into the facility from this receptacle.

The ultimate lunar experience.
